Description
Vintage Costa Verde is an Italian perpetual spinach, technically a chard but used exactly like spinach. Smooth, tender leaves with a mild versatile flavour. Unlike true spinach, it does not bolt in warm weather and keeps producing for months.
This is the leafy green that grows through an Irish summer and autumn without complaint. Cut the outer leaves regularly and it just keeps going. Part of the Vintage 1928 range. Use it anywhere you would use spinach: pasta, risotto, quiche, soup.
