Description

Purple Top Milan is an early Italian heirloom turnip with flat, disc-shaped roots, white below and purple above. Tender, mild flesh when harvested young. Ready in about 45 days, which makes it one of the fastest root vegetables you can grow.

Sow direct outdoors from spring onwards. Pull them when they are golf-ball sized for the sweetest flavour. Excellent roasted, mashed, or sliced raw into salads. A genuine quick win for beginners.
