Description
Red Sun is a deep red sunflower that looks like something from a painting. Dark velvety petals on tall stems reaching 150 to 180cm. One of the most dramatic cut flowers you can grow in an Irish garden.
Sow direct outdoors from April. Easy to grow and fast. The dark colour makes a stunning contrast against a wall or fence. Excellent as a cut flower for arrangements.
Sunflower ‘Red Sun’ (Helianthus annuus) is a dramatic annual variety, distinguished by its deep, dark red petals that create a striking, velvety appearance. This packet contains approximately 30 seeds.
๐ฑ Sow indoors Feb-Apr or outdoors Apr-Jun.

๐ง Water regularly during growth and flowering.
๐ Tall, upright habit, perfect for the back of borders or as a cut flower.
